Terms of Sales
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE.
All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site is subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.
Teleax may change these terms and conditions of use at any time, without prior notice. If you access or use this site after Teleax posts a change, you accept that change. You should check these terms and conditions of use periodically.
1. Your Teleax Account
1.1 To create a Teleax Account, you must (a) be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the applicable state age of majority, (b) if you are a corporate representative, you have authority to bind the corporate entity. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the account. You must immediately notify Teleax of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. Teleax will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.
2. Placing Your Order
2.1 When you place your Order, we will issue you with an Order Number. Please note that such an Order Number is supplied for reference purposes only and does not constitute our acceptance of your Order.
2.2 By placing an Order, you make an offer to us to purchase the Products you have selected on these terms and conditions. We may or may not accept your offer at our discretion.
3. Processing of orders
3.1 You can expect your order to be processed within approximately 24-48 hours, provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with payment verification. Orders are not processed on weekends and holidays.
3.2 If we accept your Order, we will notify you of our acceptance by issuing an Order Confirmation. We will send your Order Confirmation to you by e-mail. The Order Confirmation will be effective on sending. If we cannot accept your Order we will attempt to contact you by email or telephone.
3.3 Credit and Debit cards are debited on the day of placing an order in Teleax. All prices include sales taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated. While placing the order, the shipping charges will be automatically calculated and the customer has to pay the shipping charges also.
3.4 Teleax aims to arrange shipment of all ‘in stock’ items within 3 – 5 working days of receiving your order. Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock with our suppliers. Some items may be unavailable and the current stock status is approximate. Teleax is not able to commit supply dates, until our suppliers get an item in stock
3.5 You can keep track of your order status yourself on-line with the order tracking facility on your My Account page.
4. Currency, Payment, Credit Card Terms and Taxes
4.1 ALL PRICES ARE IN UNITED ARAB EMIRATES DIRHAM.
4.2 All payments must be made by VISA, MasterCard, or Paypal (each of which may be removed by Teleax in its sole discretion). Teleax also accept Wire Transfer for items in back order and Cash On Delivery for items in stock. Cash On Delivery is only available for shipping within UAE. If we offer or accept any other form of payment, you hereby agree to all restrictions, terms and conditions associated with such additional form of payment. Your card issuer agreement governs your use of your designated card, and you must refer to that agreement and not this User Agreement to determine your rights and liabilities as a cardholder. YOU, AND NOT TELEAX, ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING ANY UNAUTHORIZED AMOUNTS BILLED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD BY A THIRD PARTY. You agree to pay all taxes, fees and charges incurred/charged in connection with your purchases (including but not limited to any applicable taxes) at the rates in effect when the charges were incurred. Unless you notify Teleax of any discrepancies within thirty (30) days after they first appear on your credit card statement, you agree that they will be deemed accepted by you for all purposes. If Teleax does not receive payment from your credit card issuer, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand by Teleax.
4.3 For some transactions made at Teleax, we might ask for some documents relating to your transaction.
4.4 For any transactions in currencies except those listed on Teleax and any transactions not made in the same currency as the credit card of the customer’s issuing bank, the customer’s issuing bank may levy an exchange rate as per their exchange rate policies for transactions in foreign currencies. Teleax is not the beneficiary nor responsible for additional charges to customer due to this.
4.5 The payment via credit card will be accepted in AED (Currency of United Arab Emirates). US$1 is almost equal to 3.675 AED. The AED amount displayed is the equal of the amount user agreed to buy, after applying the exchange rate according to Google Finance. The buyer’s card will be charged by exact AED amount displayed during the purchase. However the card issuer might charge the card in the currency of the card with an exchange rate different with Google Finance rate. The result can be slight difference between the non AED amount displayed during the purchase and the amount actually charge to the card. The difference is due to different rate of the card issuer and it is not charged by Teleax.
5. Order Cancellation
5.1 You may cancel your order at any time prior to your order being processed by sending an email to . We also accept cancellations by telephoning +971 4 244 4910 during normal office hours.
5.2 You may also withdraw from the contract at any time after the product has been dispatched and you have received our email confirming your order but no later than 3 working days after the day you receive the product by:
i. Sending the notice of cancellation by email to ensuring that you quote your name, address and order reference number; or
ii. Where you have already received the goods, returning the goods to Teleax in package unopened condition together with the original invoice. Teleax will refund you the purchase price of the goods after deducting the cancellation charges. This option applies for items for which the “Return acceptable” is mentioned in the product page on Teleax website.
5.3 Teleax reserves the right to make a 15% restocking charge for any goods which are not returned in unopened condition or to refuse to accept such goods, at its sole discretion.
5.4 Teleax also reserves the right to make a charge for collecting goods from your premises in circumstances where they are not defective but you have cancelled your order. Your statutory rights are not affected.
5.5 Once you have notified Teleax that you are withdrawing your order, any sum debited to Teleax from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible, after deductions if any as mentioned herein and in any event within 30 days of your withdrawing your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by Teleax in the condition they were in when delivered to you. This option applies for items for which the “Return acceptable” is mentioned in the product page on Teleax website.
6. Shipping
6.1 We usually ship via Aramex or DHL. The shipping charges will be automatically calculated when you place your order. In some cases the shipping cost will change during the order processing time. In this case the difference in shipping cost will be charged or credited to the buyer.
6.2 In-stock items usually ship within 3-5 business days of payment receipt. We do not ship on weekends. We can only ship to street addresses, not P.O. Boxes. Standard shipping does NOT include insurance – if you would like us to ship insured, please request this explicitly. We are not responsible for packages lost or misplaced by the carrier.
6.3 Teleax is not responsible for shipping delays, including delays related to order processing or unexpected increase in demand. Any estimated order to ship days are estimates and do not represent a commitment by Teleax to meet such timelines.
6.4 Any address correction requests after a product is shipped will be subject to carrier-imposed address-correction charges (unless the error was ours, in which case we will absorb those charges).
6.5 Once your product(s) has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation via e-mail. A Shipping Tracking Number will be included, if available.
6.6 Teleax is not responsible for compliance of shipment content with local customs regulation in your country. You are responsible to make sure the shipment once passing the destination customs will comply with local regulations or you will provide the local customs the required documents and approvals in order to get the shipment released. Teleax’s responsibility to ship the order is fulfilled when the shipment gets dispatched from our warehouse with invoice and packing list and through the shipping method you have chosen when you placed the order.
7. Product Return or Exchange Procedure
7.1 If you want to return an item because it does not seem to be working, we strongly suggest you contact Teleax support. Often times they can provide a solution that will save you the trouble of a return.
7.2 To return a product you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number within the guarantee return period for the product. All RMA requests must be filed online. Teleax will not accept returns without prior authorization and a RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days within which return products must be received by Teleax. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customer should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product.
7.3 Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing, Teleax’s Return Procedure will be breached and Teleax may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing component(s). This option applies for items for which the “Return acceptable” is mentioned in the product page on Teleax website.
7.4 Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to Teleax. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment.
7.5 Teleax will not refund to Customer the original shipping charges. In addition, Teleax will assess a 15% restocking fee against the Customer’s account on all returns for refund.
8. Refunds for returned products
8.1 Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after our receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping cost. On items purchased with flat rate or free shipping returned for a refund, the original shipping cost that we paid the shipping courier will be deducted from your refund.
9. No Responsibility to Sell Mis-priced Products or Services
9.1 Teleax shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products and/or services listed at an incorrect price, rebate or refund, or containing any other incorrect information or typographical errors. Teleax shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled under this clause, Teleax shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
10. Limitations and Disclaimer
10.1 IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES TELEAX’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD. TELEAX SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE UPON A CLAIM OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, INDEMNITY OR CONTRIBUTION, OR OTHER CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PRODUCTS IT SELLS WHICH EXCEEDS THIS LIABILITY LIMIT. TELEAX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CUSTOMER, OR FOR MALFUNCTION, DELAYS, INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT TELEX HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIMS OR DAMAGES.
11. Warranties; All Product Sold “AS-IS” or “With All Faults”
11.1 TELEAX IS A DISTRIBUTOR ONLY. PRODUCTS SOLD BY TELEAX ARE NOT MANUFACTURED BY TELEAX. THE PRODUCTS MAY, HOWEVER, BE COVERED BY EACH MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY, SERVICE, AND SUPPORT POLICY (IF PRESENT). TELEAX ASSIGNS AND PASSES THROUGH TO THE CUSTOMER ANY WARRANTY OF THE MANUFACTURER, AND CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IT SHALL HAVE RECOURSE ONLY UNDER SUCH WARRANTIES AND ONLY AS AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCTS. TELEAX MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR EXPRESS WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT EXCEPT THOSE STATED IN THIS DOCUMENT. TELEAX DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY SUCH PRODUCT, INCLUDING AND WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING FROM STATUTE, TRADE USAGE, COURSE OF DEALING, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE. ALL ITEMS SOLD THROUGH TELEAX ARE SOLD “AS-IS” OR “WITH ALL FAULTS.” THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THESE ITEMS IS WITH THE BUYER. SHOULD ANY OF THESE ITEMS PROVE DEFECTIVE, DO NOT FUNCTION, OR FUNCTION IMPROPERLY IN ANY WAY FOLLOWING THEIR PURCHASE, THE BUYER, AND NOT THE MANUFACTURER, DISTRIBUTOR, OR TELEAX, ASSUMES THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING OR REPAIR.

Collection of Personally-Identifying Information

Teleax collect information about you in various ways when you use our Site. Information collected includes your name, shipping address, billing address, telephone numbers, e-mail address, and payment information such as your credit card number.
We also require you to submit a username and password of your choice for your future access to your account information. To safeguard that your user name and password remain confidential, DO NOT share this information with anyone.
Use of Personally-Identifying Information

Most of the information collected in the registration process will be used to process orders.
